3 Days 2 Nights Diani Beach Getaway

The most tourist-oriented beach of the so-called South Coast, geographical separated from the Tiwi Beach to the north by the Kongo River. 10 km south of Diani Beach is Galu Beach, 20 km south Gazi Beach, 30 km south the Msambweni Beach and 50 km the south of the Mwazaro Beach. With a flawless, long stretch of white-sand beach hugged by lush forest and kissed by surfable waves, it's no wonder Diani Beach is so popular. This resort town scores points with a diverse crowd: party people, families, honeymooners, backpackers and water-sports enthusiasts.

Day 1

Day 1: Nairobi – Ukunda

This being our first day, we will depart from Nairobi SGR terminus at 8.20 am and arrive in Mombasa at 2.18 pm. During the journey, we shall have the chance to view scenic Tsavo east and west. We may spot a few elephants in the park. After arrival in Mombasa, we shall be picked by a car and head to Diani via the Likoni ferry. We will get to buy lunch in Mombasa town at own cost. We shall check in at the apartment later in the evening, enjoy the breeze and sunset of Diani Beach. Have Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Day 2: Wasini Dolphin Tour

On this second day, we shall embark on a dolphin tour in Wasini. After breakfast, we shall depart the apartment to Wasini Island for a full day tour of the dolphins. Its going to be a fun filled day of dhow sailing, swimming, sun bathing, dolphin spotting, sea food and adventurous snorkeling in Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. We shall also experience the local culture during the Wasini village tour, the coral garden and the mangrove forest. We shall then enjoy tropical sea food lunch at the island (crabs, fish, sea weeds, rice with coconut sauce among others). We shall later visit the slave caves then return to the apartment in the evening.

Day 3

Day 3: Ukunda – Nairobi

This being the last day of our getaway, we shall check out of our apartment after breakfast. We shall be driven to Mombasa SGR terminus where we shall depart for Nairobi at 3.15 pm. Our arrival in Nairobi at 8.14 pm.
